The Waterfront : The redevelopment of the Downtown Airpark is a catalytic event for the transformation of Oklahoma City's urban waterfront. This 86 acre site is located one mile from downtown's central business district and has direct access to the only full interchange on the new I-40 realignment. The project's master plan, created by Goody-Clancy & Associates, creates a mixed-use, walkable urban village including office, retail and urban residential product on the south bank of the Oklahoma River. Beyond this mixed-use higher density area, the south half of the site will be a walkable neighborhood characterized by attached and detached single family residential with narrow lots and alley access.
