Kirk Humphreys is CEO and chairman of the board of The Humphreys Company. He has 42 years of experience in real estate acquisition, syndication, financing, ownership and disposition.
Kirk is a director of OGE Energy Corp., a member of the Board of Regents of The University of Oklahoma, and a former Trustee of the Urban Land Institute.
From 1972 to 1989, Kirk was an owner and executive of Jack’s Service Company, a national distribution business. After selling his interest in the company, Kirk focused his efforts on real estate investments. Kirk was twice elected Mayor of the City of Oklahoma City, serving from 1998 through 2003. He continues to be active in politics as co-host of Flash Point, a weekly televised commentary and debate on issues of local and national interest.
Kirk earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Oklahoma in 1972.
He and his wife, Danna, have been married for 45 years and live in Oklahoma City and Carlton Landing, Oklahoma. They have 3 children and 14 grandchildren.
Grant Humphreys is Executive Vice President and board memeber of The Humphreys Company. He brings 22 years of real estate experience.
Grant worked for Trammell Crow Company in Dallas and Oklahoma City. In 2000, he formed a company which owned the largest self-storage portfolio in the state. In 2006, he developed “Block 42”, a luxury condo project in downtown Oklahoma City. Since 2008, Grant has worked to develop Carlton Landing, a 1,900-acre resort community on Lake Eufaula.
As Town Founder of Carlton Landing, Grant directs the long-term strategy for land development and home building. Key initiatives include forming a new water district, forming a new municipality, creating a TIF District, and leasing 420 acres from the Corps of Engineers. Grant oversees sales, resort services, event programming, and culture building activity. He and his wife, Jen, founded Carlton Landing Academy, the first rural charter school in Oklahoma.
Grant earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from Baylor University in 1998.
Grant and Jen have 5 children and live in Carlton Landing, Oklahoma.
Blair Humphreys is a Principal and board member of The Humphreys Company. He brings 13 years of experience in real estate investing and development.
Blair is the developer of the Wheeler District, an infill urban neighborhood on the Oklahoma River near downtown Oklahoma City. He is also the founder and past chair of the Oklahoma District Council of the Urban Land Institute.
Prior to initiating the Wheeler District development, Blair served as the Executive Director of the Institute for Quality Communities at The University of Oklahoma.
Blair earned a Master of City Planning and Urban Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2009 and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from The University of Oklahoma in 2005.
He and his wife, Maggie, have four children and live in Oklahoma City.
Annie Middlebrooks is a principal and board member of the Humphreys Company.
In addition to her role at Humphreys Company, Annie serves on the Board of Directors for the Mercy Health Foundation of Oklahoma City and volunteers at Skyline Church in Oklahoma City, where her husband Jonathan Middlebrooks serves the Executive Pastor.
Annie earned a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from Baylor University.
Jonathan and Annie, along with their five children, live in Oklahoma City’s Historic Gatewood Neighborhood.
